Tsugaike Shizen-en is a protected alpine nature park laced with wooden boardwalks — ponds, wetlands and wildflower meadows sitting right beneath the Northern Alps.
Gondola and ropeway lift you to the park gates; from there your guide leads a gentle 6-hour exploration of one of Nagano’s most beautiful high places.
