Nakasendo Trail Trek
Walk a preserved Edo-era post road through cedar forest and timeless mountain villages.

Step back in time on Japan’s most beautiful old road
The Nakasendo once linked Kyoto and Tokyo across the mountains of central Japan. Today, its best-preserved section between Magome and Tsumago winds through cedar forest, past waterfalls, water mills and Edo-era post towns that look almost unchanged.
Your private guide brings the history to life — the travellers, the tea houses and the stories — while setting a relaxed pace with plenty of time for photos, lunch and quiet moments.
