Our group snowshoe tours are a wonderful, sociable and great-value way to discover Hakuba’s winter forest. In a small group with an expert guide, you’ll float over deep snow into peaceful woodland.

Meet at Hakuba Bus Terminal
Pickup & drop-off at Hakuba Bus Terminal — introductions, fitting and briefing.

Into the forest
Snowshoe gently into the winter woodland.

Warm break
Hot tea and time to enjoy the silence.

What to wear & bring
Dress for a winter forest — we handle all the technical equipment.
- Waterproof jacket & pants
- Warm layers (avoid cotton)
- Winter boots (rentals can be arranged)
- Warm gloves — plus a spare pair
- Hat & neck warmer
- Sunglasses or goggles
- Small backpack & water bottle
- Camera or phone — you’ll want it
We provide: snowshoes, poles, gaiters, hot tea and all safety equipment — fitted for you on the day.
