Co CEO

Javier Calzada is a visionary leader in the global snow sports industry and CEO of Hakuba Excellence. With more than 20 years of international experience — including 9 transformative years in Hakuba, Japan — he combines elite technical expertise, academic excellence, and strategic leadership to elevate mountain sports education and performance worldwide.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences and an MBA in Sports Management. Javier is a fully certified Ski Instructor and Course Conductor.

His long-term presence in Hakuba has given him deep insight into the Japanese market, operational excellence standards, and the unique culture of precision and professionalism that defines the region.

Beyond Japan, Javier has developed and managed projects across Spain, Austria, France, Argentina, Korea, and Dubai, bringing a truly global perspective to his leadership.

As CEO of Hakuba Excellence, Javier’s mission is to establish a benchmark organization built on technical mastery, innovation, international standards, and a deep-rooted passion for snow and outdoor sports.
