Expect cool to chilly mountain weather and variable conditions:
🌦️ Temperature & Conditions
- At lower altitudes (town level), daytime highs are typically around 15–18 °C (59–64 °F) with cooler nights near 9–10 °C (48–50 °F).
- At high elevations like Murodo, conditions stay much colder—even around or below freezing—and snow or wind chill is common.
- The famous snow corridor and snow walls are usually present from mid-April, but weather can still include winter-like conditions with possible snow or whiteouts at the top.
☔ Precipitation
- April tends to be wet with frequent rain and cloudy days, so showers are likely.
❄️ What to Prepare
- Layered clothing, a good warm jacket, waterproof gear, gloves, and sunglasses are recommended, especially for higher parts of the route where temperatures stay low.
In short: spring-like at lower areas, but cold and snowy at high elevations with variable weather—dress in layers and be ready for both rain and chilly conditions.
